Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi is still hurting after a violent attack by OGC Nice supporters, and Moses Simon says both the club and the French football authorities must act fast, Footynaija.com reports.
The Paris FC winger has said that he had spoken directly with his Super Eagles teammate and confirmed that the forward is still feeling pain from the incident.
The situation escalated after Nice lost 3-1 to FC Lorient last weekend. Reports had confirmed that around 400 supporters confronted the squad when the team bus arrived at the club’s training centre.

According to multiple accounts, Moffi and Jeremie Boga were punched, kicked, spat on and insulted, with racist abuse also reported. Some of the blows were said to be to sensitive parts of their bodies.
The attack came during a difficult run for Nice, who had suffered six straight defeats across all competitions. Following the incident Moses Simon said he “spoke with him, he is hurt and he is still in a bit of pain.”
“When something like this happens, it is not good. For a big Ligue 1 club, it is not good. For something like this to happen at a club in a top five European league… It is a real mess, so I really hope the club and the Federation will do something,” he told RMC Sport.
Both Moffi and Boga have since been placed on sick leave, with medical checks confirming the need for recovery. Per multiple reports, the pair also filed formal complaints with local police.
