Galatasaray’s January plans are beginning to take shape, and Super Eagles duo Raphael Onyedika and Ademola Lookman are reportedly on the radar of the Turkish champions as they prepare for a decisive second half of the season, Footynaija.com reports.
With Okan Buruk’s men chasing another league title and gearing up for a stronger Champions League push, the club is looking to make strategic moves that add quality without disrupting their current momentum.
The Istanbul side already made headlines in the summer after pulling off the blockbuster signing of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen for €75m. That investment has paid off so far, with Gala sitting three points clear at the top of the Super Lig.
According to Footy-Africa, Galatasaray have placed two more Super Eagles stars Onyedika and Lookman at the top of their winter shortlist.

Gala made an attempt to sign Onyedika during the summer, and although the 24-year-old midfielder was open to a move, talks collapsed over Club Brugge’s valuation.
The Belgians want €25m, while Galatasaray are preparing a structured offer built around a €5m loan and a €15m obligation to buy. Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham remain in the mix, but Gala are pushing hardest.

Lookman, meanwhile, remains in the conversation for a potential January exit after enduring a rollercoaster experience at Bergamo in the past few months.
Both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have reportedly approached Atalanta, but the Italian club’s price tag continues to complicate matters.
While securing either deal in January could prove to be difficult, there appears to be concrete interest from the Turkish giants and their Nigerian contingent may well increase before the end of the winter window.
