Galatasaray are close to completing payment of the record €75 million transfer fee for Victor Osimhen, with the Turkish champions having already settled €57.5 million of the agreement reached with Napoli, Footynaija.com reports.
After paying €40 million upfront and a second instalment of €17.5 million last month, the final payment, another €17.5 million, is scheduled for March. This is according to a report by Fanatik.
The entire fee is expected to be settled by April 2026.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan last season before the club made the deal permanent following a standout campaign. His performances have since exceeded expectations, and the Nigerian has become the focal point of the team’s attack.
He scored twice in the 3–2 win over Samsunspor at the weekend, taking his Galatasaray tally to 48 goals in 55 matches; nearly a third of the team’s goals since his debut last September.
This season alone, he has scored 11 goals in 14 matches, including six in the UEFA Champions League, where he sits second in the top-scorer standings behind Kylian Mbappé.
Osimhen has also reached a milestone in European competitions, with 12 goals making him joint-highest foreign scorer in Galatasaray’s continental history.
Domestically, he is now fifth among the club’s top foreign scorers and needs only four more goals to overtake Bafetimbi Gomis.
For Galatasaray, the investment is being justified week after week as Osimhen continues to deliver decisive performance.
