Chiamaka Nnadozie has been rewarded for her outstanding form with the Barclays WSL Save of the Month award for November, Footynaija.com reports.
The Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper earned the accolade for a remarkable, acrobatic stop during her side’s 1–1 draw with Liverpool at the St Helens Stadium.
With Brighton trailing, Fuka Nagano fired a powerful long-range effort that appeared destined for the top corner. Nnadozie reacted instantly, springing high to tip the ball onto the crossbar and prevent Liverpool from doubling their lead. The save proved decisive as Brighton later equalised to secure a point.
SAFE HANDS.

The Nigerian international saw off competition from Sabrina D’Angelo, Faye Kirby and Ayaka Yamashita, claiming her first WSL monthly honour. It also marked a welcome turnaround after she narrowly lost out to Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar for the October award.
Since joining Brighton from Paris FC in the summer, Nnadozie has quickly become one of the standout goalkeepers in the league. She has kept two clean sheets, made 24 save – including 14 from inside the box – and holds a save percentage of 78.7%, second only to Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton.
Her October nomination was for a brilliant stop against Tottenham. Brighton sit seventh on 11 points as they prepare to face London City Lionesses on 7 December, with Nnadozie now firmly established as one of the WSL’s most dependable performers.
