Victor Osimhen has once again shown that he is more than a footballer, after stepping in to support a Nigerian influencer, Aunty Esther, with a N5M donation towards her cancer treatment, Footynaija.com reports.
The Super Eagles forward, who grew up in the Olusosun area of Lagos, has long been known for his generosity and support for people in need. His latest act has again shown the human side of a player who is already one of Africa’s most recognised footballers.
Osimhen is enjoying another strong year on the pitch with Galatasaray, where he remains their most reliable forward after a record transfer from Napoli. He has 6 goals already in the current UEFA Champions League season and he recently helped Nigeria in their national assignments before picking up a minor injury.

According to Nigerian journalist Suleiman Adebayo, popularly known as Pooja, the Galatasaray striker made a donation of N5M to support the medical bills of the popular online personality Aunty Esther, who is currently battling cancer.
“Victor Osimhen supports Aunty Esther’s medical bills with N5M. God bless him,” Pooja shared the update on his X page.
Aunty Esther had earlier posted a video detailing her condition. She spoke with visible emotion, explaining that she did not want to die and needed urgent help for treatment.
Her appeal spread quickly across social media, drawing sympathy and calls for support. Osimhen’s response has now provided a lift to the ongoing efforts to fund her care, and Pooja’s update sparked a wave of positive reactions from fans who praised the Nigerian striker for his compassion.
