Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare is currently facing managerial uncertainty as Wolverhampton Wanderers have cut ties with head coach Vitor Pereira following a winless start to the 25/26 Premier League campaign, Footynaija.com reports.
Arokodare joined Wolves in the summer but the Nigeria international has yet to taste victory in the English top flight division.
Since the start of the season, Wolves have recorded two draws and eight defeats, prompting the club hierarchy to give Pereira his marching orders on Sunday.

A statement from Wolverhampton Wanderers executive chairman Jeff Shi read: “Vitor and his team worked tirelessly for Wolves and helped guide us through a challenging period last season, for which we are grateful.
“Unfortunately, the start to this season has been a disappointment and, despite our strong desire to give the head coach time and matches to find an improvement, we have reached a point where we must make a change.
“We thank Vitor and his staff for their efforts and wish them the very best for the future.”

Under Pereira’s tutelage, Arokodare failed to fully settle into life in the Premier League. The towering Nigerian striker has started just two of his seven Premier League appearances so far and failed to find the back of the net in those outings.
However, he found some joy in the Carabao Cup where he helped himself to two goals in as many appearances. Unfortunately, his goals weren’t enough to prevent Wolves’ fourth round elimination at the hands of Chelsea.
Arokodare and his teammates will now be anticipating the arrival of their new manager. But most importantly, they’ll be hoping this turn of events can spark a much-needed change in their Premier League fortunes.
