Hungarian Fizz Liga champions Ferencvaros have announced the signing of talented Nigerian winger Bamidele Yusuf from Serbian top flight outfit FK Vojvodina Novi Sad, Footynaija.com reports.

The versatile 24-year-old forward joins Ferencvaros off the back of a very impressive season with FK Vojvodina in the Serbian First League where he bagged 22 goal contributions (18G, 4A) in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Interestingly, Yusuf has enjoyed an even more impressive start to the 2025/2026 Serbian First League season with six goal contributions (3G, 3A) in just five appearances to his name prior to joining the 36-time Hungarian champions.

Speaking during the unveiling of the player, Ferencvaros sporting director Tamal Hajnal revealed that Yusuf’s ability to feature across the front line was a key factor in making him a suitable target for the club. Hajnal also waxed lyrical about Yusuf’s prolific scoring ability.

“Yusuf is not only a winger, but also a player who can play anywhere in attacking positions in different formations. That’s why he was interesting to us, because regardless of what formation we use in a given match, he can be used well in any of them,” Hajnal said, as per quotes on the club’s official website.

“He is a prolific scorer with excellent physical attributes and great speed. He has been playing very effectively in recent times, so with him, our squad will certainly be more versatile and stronger. We believe that he will be a good reinforcement for our team in every aspect. With him, our head coach’s options will increase and competition within the team will intensify.”

With Ferencvaros looking to maintain their domestic dominance while they push to make a name for themselves on the continent, Yusuf’s versatility and prolific scoring ability will certainly prove to be a massive asset over the course of the season.
