Fulham have sealed the signing of Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan on a season-long loan, with the option to buy, Footynaija.com reports.

The 27-year-old completed the move on deadline day and will wear the No 19 shirt at Craven Cottage. He links up with compatriots Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, strengthening Fulham’s Nigerian core ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Chukwueze joined Milan from Villarreal in 2023 but struggled to fully establish himself in Serie A, scoring eight goals and recording six assists across 72 appearances.

At Villarreal, he had built a reputation as one of La Liga’s most exciting wide players, delivering 37 goals and 29 assists in 207 matches and helping the Spanish side to Europa League glory in 2021.

Speaking after completing the deal, Chukwueze said: “I’m so happy to be here. It feels like home because I have my people around me. I can’t wait to get started.”

Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan added: “I’m thrilled to welcome Samuel Chukwueze to Fulham. He is an explosive athlete and tremendous talent who has gained valuable experience in Italy and in international competition with Nigeria. We’re very excited to have him here.”

Marco Silva will hope Chukwueze brings much-needed pace and directness to Fulham’s attack, which lacked cutting edge at times last season.
