Fulham boss Marco Silva has tipped Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze to flourish in the Premier League, backing the winger to add extra firepower to his side ahead of their weekend clash against Leeds United, Footynaija.com reports.
Chukwueze, who recently joined Fulham on loan from AC Milan, has been one of the most talked-about summer signings at Craven Cottage.
The Super Eagles forward arrives with a reputation for pace, flair and Champions League experience, and Silva believes he has the qualities to shine in England’s top flight.
“We believe the profiles of Chukwueze and Kevin will add to what we’ve been looking for in those areas of the pitch,” Silva said in his pre-Leeds press Conference.

The Portuguese coach explained that Fulham already boast exciting wide options such as Adama Traoré, Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi, but stressed that Chukwueze will bring something different to the attack.
“With Adama, Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi, they’re going to be our solutions for the wide areas of the pitch,” he said.
Silva also touched on how Chukwueze and new signing Kevin can slot into the team quickly, while noting the Nigerian’s pedigree at the top level.
“Kevin has settled in well. He’s working hard to understand everything we need from him. He’s very young, 22 years old, but he has the experience of playing Champions League and European games. The first time I saw Chukwueze and Jonah [Kusi-Asare] was yesterday, but Kevin is slightly different because he’s been with us for the last 10 days.”
Looking ahead, Silva expressed confidence that the Nigerian international can make his mark at Craven Cottage.
“Him and Chukwueze are going to help us,” the Fulham boss added.
