Galatasaray commentator Ugur Karakullukcu has been left furious by external attempts to potentially influence Victor Osimhen’s final decision on his next destination amid continued uncertainty in the wake of the Super Eagles striker’s rejection of Al Hilal, Footynaija.com reports.
When Osimhen was busy tearing up Super Lig defenses and breaking records last season, it became obvious that he would have suitors queuing up for his signature this summer. Yet, not many could’ve envisaged the incredible lengths some of these suitors would be willing to go to secure his services.
The Super Eagles marksman recently turned down a mind-boggling offer worth €35 million annually from Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal in favour of staying back in Europe where he can continue to compete at the highest level.

Osimhen has plenty of potential suitors in Europe including Chelsea. Some of the Blues’ ex-players are desperate to see the masked hitman seal a move to Stamford Bridge with Didier Drogba, who also played for Galatasaray, reportedly one of those who have tried to sway Osimhen’s decision in favour of a move to West London.
Galatasaray have made no secret of their desire to sign Osimhen on a permanent basis and Karakullukcu, who was left frustrated by Drogba’s alleged involvement as he expected him to maintain neutrality out of respect for his ties with both clubs, had some strong words for the former Cote D’Ivoire skipper.

“Also Didier Drogba wants Osimhen to play for Chelsea. Drogba also wants to spoil the deal,” Karakullukcu said in quotes revealed by habersarikirmizi.
“His words about Mourinho had already made him lose favor with the fans. Drogba will never be valued by Galatasaray fans as much as Mario Jardel and Mauro Icardi.
“If you are going to seduce Osimhen and take him to Chelsea, shame on you. He should have remained neutral.”
Whether Drogba truly tried to convince Osimhen to ignore Galatasaray in favour of a move to the Premier League remains uncertain at this point. On his part, Osimhen appears to be in no particular haste to make a decision about his next destination with the prolific striker currently unwinding in Nigeria after a long and very successful season.
