Premier League big guns Arsenal have reportedly made contact with the representatives of in-form Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen in a bid to lure the Nigerian to North London, Footynaija.com understands.
Osimhen has been the subject of numerous transfer speculation since his fallout with Napoli’s hierarchy. Top clubs all around Europe have shown strong interest in the prolific frontman, who is currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig outfit Galatasaray.
In recent weeks, reports have relentlessly linked Osimhen to Manchester United and Chelsea, with the latter famously failing to sign him from Napoli last summer because they were unwilling to meet his wage demands.
Reports suggest that Juventus are also eyeing a summer move for the 26-year-old, as the Bianconeri aim to secure a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, who will likely leave the Allianz Stadium after refusing to sign a new deal with the Old Lady.

Despite these top teams openly admiring Osimhen, Arsenal have taken a big step toward registering their interest in the Nigerian international.
According to popular Nigerian sports journalist Buchi Laba via X (formerly Twitter), the Gunners have made contact with Osimhen’s camp and they are willing to trigger his release clause when the summer transfer window opens.

Buchi Laba’s post further reveals that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are also looking at Serbian striker Benjamin Sesko and they will eventually settle on signing just one out of the two players.
Where will Osimhen end up in the summer?

Osimhen is currently enjoying a fantastic stint in Istanbul with the former under-17 World Cup Golden Boot winner boasting an impressive tally of twenty goals and five assists in 27 appearances for Galatasaray this season.
We will continue to monitor the situation surrounding Osimhen’s future as the summer transfer window nears. It will be interesting to see where the former Lille center forward ends up ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
