Manchester United’s latest signing Manuel Ugarte has revealed that the club’s ambition to succeed was enough to convince him to swap Paris for Manchester this summer, Soccernet.football reports.

The Red Devils had been pursuing Ugarte all summer but initially stepped back from negotiations due to Paris Saint-Germain’s firm stance on their asking price.

A deal worth up to £50.6 million was eventually secured on deadline day, with the Uruguay international later revealing why he was so eager to join United this summer.
