Has Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman reached an agreement with Al Hilal? His agent’s response is emphatic

Reports of Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman reaching an agreement with Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal appear to be premature, Soccernet.football reports.

Despite claims from French media outlets that Coman has agreed to a move, his agent, Christian Emile, has refuted these assertions.

“It’s NOT true. Kingsley has not accepted any bid at this stage,” Emile clarified in a chat with FabrizioRomano.

Coman, who has been with Bayern Munich since 2015, is rumoured to be on his way out as the German giants look to reshape their squad.

The 28-year-old French international has seen his role diminish, with new signing Michael Olise and other talents like Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry, Mathys Tel, and Jamal Musiala pushing him down the pecking order.

While Al Hilal have reportedly agreed on a transfer fee with Bayern, Coman seems to be holding out for potential offers from top European clubs.

Liverpool and Barcelona are said to be monitoring his situation, though Liverpool’s imminent acquisition of Federico Chiesa might rule them out of the race.

With the transfer window closing on Friday, Bayern Munich are eager for a swift resolution. Coman, however, is likely to bide his time until the last moment to see if interest from a major European club materialises before making any commitments.

Should Coman depart, Bayern Munich may re-enter the transfer market. Reports suggest they could renew their interest in Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, though this remains speculative.

Earlier reports from L’Équipe suggested that Coman had already informed Bayern of his intention to move to Al Hilal. However, the conflicting statements from his agent have left Coman’s future still very much in the air as the transfer deadline approaches.
