Brazil will be hoping to pick up a rich vein of form going into the tournament which commences later this month as they have not been at their very best in recent times.
The Selecaoa are heading into the competition with a fresh looking squad with big names like Neymar Jnr, Ederson Moraes and Richarlison out injured while the likes of Casemiro, Antony and Gabriel Jesus were not selected by head coach Dorival Junior.

7. Bruno Guimaraes
The 26-year-old was a stalwart in midfield for Newcastle this past season and contributed in attack with 17 goal involvements across 50 appearances for the Magpies.
Bruno can provide the Selecao with extra attacking threat by making driving runs from the middle of the park and supplying sublime final balls in the attacking third.
The Newcastle man has a reputation for arriving late in the box to get on the end of crosses or cut backs and is also dangerous in set-piece situations.
6. Douglas Luiz
Luiz was massive in midfield for Aston Villa as they marched to a top four finish in the Premier League to seal Champions League qualification for next season and reached the Conference League semi final.
The 26-year-old is an all-rounder in midfield, capable of providing solidity for the Selecao in the middle of the park while also contributing significantly in the final third.
5. Endrick
The Real Madrid bound starlet has shown a lot of potential in recent times and is set to battle Evanilson for the chance to lead Brazil’s front line in a major tournament at just 17 years old.
Endrick possesses great strength and pace which makes him really exciting to watch. The youngster may have earned himself a starting shirt after scoring against England and Spain in Brazil’s March friendlies.
4. Savio
Another young sensation in this Brazil side, Savio was one of the standout performers for Girona this past season, firing the Spanish club to a first ever Champions League qualification thanks to an impressive third place finish in La Liga.
Savio may find game time difficult to come by in the tournament given the presence of more established names like Vinícius Junior and Rodrygo who play in the same position.
However, if the opportunity arises, the 20-year-old is certainly capable of filling in for his more experienced compatriots.
3. Rodrygo
The 23-year-old winger played a significant part in Real Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League triumph this past season and will undoubtedly be playing a key role for the Selecao in the Copa America.
Rodrygo will be going into the tournament in fine form having notched double figures(17) in goals and created nine more for Real Madrid during the 2023/2024 campaign.
Despite preferring to play on the left flank, Rodrygo will most likely feature as Brazil’s right winger to accommodate Vini on the left.
2. Evanilson
Evanilson enjoyed a very productive season with Taca de Portugal winners FC Porto, recording an impressive 32 goal contributions across 42 appearances for the Portuguese giants.
The 24-year-old center forward is clinical in front of goal and can provide Brazil with a focal point in attack. He can also turn creator by linking up play with other attackers.
Evanilson is set to face competition from teenage wonder-kid Endrick for the Selecao’s number nine slot. If the Porto striker can replicate his club level form, he should have no problems holding down a starting shirt.
1. Vinícius Junior
Arguably Real Madrid’s best player this season and one of the best players in the world at the moment, Vinícius will certainly play a crucial role in any success Brazil may enjoy in the tournament.
Vinícius’ season got off to a slow start but the winger blew any early worries away after kicking into gear, finishing the season in scintillating fashion with 35 goal contributions in 39 appearances.
The 23-year-old forward was a central feature in Madrid’s double success this season and Dorival Junior will be hoping his star man can deliver the goods again in national team colours.
