Galatasaray are reportedly ready to activate the €75 million release clause of red-hot Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen following his sensational impact since joining the Turkish champions last summer, Footynaija.com understands.
Osimhen became an instant hit in Istanbul after arriving on a season-long loan from Napoli at the start of the 2024/2025 campaign. The Nigeria international’s dedication and commitment on the pitch has seen him become a fan favourite at RAMS Park.

In 30 appearances for Galatasaray so far, Osimhen has scored 26 goals and provided 5 assists. With nine games left to play in the Super Lig, the 25-year-old is just five goals away from equalling his personal-best tally of 31, scored during Napoli’s impressive Scudetto winning season.
The loanee is spearheading Galatasaray’s charge for a 25th Super Lig title and his impressive performances for the defending champions have convinced the club management to try and activate his €75 million release clause at the end of his loan spell according to Nexus Sports via Instagram.
Gala’s latest desire to secure Osimhen on a permanent transfer adds a new dimension to an already interesting summer for the future of the Nigerian striker. With the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain all credited with interests in the Super Eagles forward, Galatasaray will have their work cut out for them.
As we approach the end of the current campaign, the future of Osimhen will become clearer. For now, the prolific hitman’s focus will be on two major goals; helping the Super Eagles get their World Cup qualifying campaign back on track and delivering a 25th Super Lig crown to RAMS Park.
