Major League Soccer side FC Dallas have signed promising Nigerian winger Daniel Job from Norwegian second-division club Kongsvinger IL, Footynaija.com reports.
The 21-year-old has signed a U22 Initiative contract running through the 2029/2030 MLS season, with Dallas holding an option to extend the deal for another campaign.
Job arrives in the United States after an impressive spell with Kongsvinger, where he scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 20 appearances during the first half of the 2026 season.

His form attracted interest from clubs across Europe, but FC Dallas have now won the race for the Nigerian prospect, who is expected to occupy an international roster slot once he receives his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate.
FC Dallas Chief Soccer Officer Andre Zanotta believes Job has the qualities to develop into an important attacking player for the club.
“Daniel is a promising young winger who has excelled in Norway and generated a lot of interest from clubs across Europe,” Zanotta said on the club’s official website.
“We believe he has a lot of upside and the qualities to continue developing at FC Dallas, and we’re excited to have him here.
“His speed and ability to attack defenders will give us another dynamic option in the final third and add another element to our attack.”
Despite only joining Kongsvinger in April, Job quickly made his mark by scoring on his debut against Levanger before continuing his impressive run in the Norwegian second tier.
The Nigerian also found the net in Kongsvinger’s Norwegian Football Cup victory over Skreia IL shortly before completing his move to Dallas.
A product of Future Pro Soccer Academy in Lagos, Job previously featured for Sarpsborg 08 and Egersunds IK in Norway.
