Super Eagles striker Akor Adams is reportedly attracting interest from several Serie A clubs as Sevilla weigh up a potential sale ahead of the summer transfer window, Footynaija.com reports.
Adams enjoyed a productive campaign with the Andalusian outfit, establishing himself as an important figure in attack and finishing the season with ten goals in La Liga. The former Montpellier striker also became a regular member of Eric Chelle’s Super Eagles squad after earning his maiden call-up earlier in the season.
According to Spanish outlet ABC de Sevilla, a number of clubs in Italy’s top flight are closely monitoring the 26-year-old ahead of the new campaign. Sevilla sporting director Antonio Cordón is reportedly assessing options across Europe, with Serie A sides currently leading the race for the Nigerian’s signature.

The report adds that while no formal offers have been submitted, several mid-table Italian clubs have expressed interest in Adams and are keeping tabs on his situation. Turkish clubs have also been linked with the forward in recent months, while Olympique de Marseille were recently credited with an interest, although no concrete approach has emerged.
Interest from Italy is not entirely new as Adams has previously been linked with established Serie A outfits AC Milan and Fiorentina. His performances over the last year have only strengthened his reputation among clubs in the division.
