Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has taken a shocking stance on a potential exit for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen amid interest from several top clubs in Europe, Footynaija.com reports.
Osimhen has enjoyed another impressive campaign with Galatasaray despite spending a considerable amount of the season sidelined by injury. The 27-year-old striker has 28 goal contributions (22G, 6A) across 33 appearances to his name so far.
Just last week, he netted a brace as the Lions romped to a 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor at RAMS Park and sealed a fourth straight Turkish Super Lig title, with one game to go.

Another season of impact in Istanbul has made Osimhen the subject of relentless transfer speculations in recent months despite having three years left on the contract he signed with Galatasaray last summer.
Among his admirers are some of Europe’s finest including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, with links to the Santiago Bernabeu gaining strong momentum in recent days.
However, despite ongoing speculations, it appears that the Super Eagles striker will be spending at least another season at RAMS Park as Ozbek recently made it clear that Galatasaray value hom very highly and not even an eye-watering profit on their €75 million investment will sway their resolve to retain his services.

“How much would Osimhen be worth if we put him up for sale now? I wouldn’t sell him for €100 million—why would I?” Özbek said.
“Osimhen encouraged us. He did his part, both in terms of prestige and performance. It’s a good thing we signed him.”
While Dursun Ozbek’s no-sale message is quite clear, football has taught us that we cannot completely rule any possibilities, especially when it comes to the summer transfer window where the ambitions of clubs and players come to the fore.
