Premier League outfit, Fulham, have been impressed with the impact of Super Eagles attacker Samuel Chukwueze at Craven Cottage this season and they’re now pushing to secure his signing on a permanent basis from AC Milan, Footynaija.com reports.
Chukwueze joined the London side on loan in search of regular football after falling out of favour under Massimiliano Allegri at Milan.
With the Serie A giants open to a sale, Fulham have already made their interest clear, with reports from Gazzetta suggesting they are willing to trigger the €24 million option included in his deal.

Since arriving at Craven Cottage, Chukwueze has shown flashes of his quality, contributing three goals and four assists in 17 Premier League appearances.
While not always a guaranteed starter for the Cottagers, the Nigeria international’s pace, direct running and ability to take on defenders have added a different dimension to Marco Silva’s attack.
Despite that, Fulham are yet to fully commit, with injury concerns, particularly a calf problem that sidelined him earlier in the campaign, along with questions over consistency, forcing a more cautious approach from the West London club.

Fulham’s chase for European football could ultimately influence the final outcome of this one. The Cottagers currently sit ninth in the Premier League table with 44 points from 31 matches and remain in contention for a Europa or Conference League spot.
Securing qualification for either one of the continental competitions would strengthen the case for Chukwueze’s permanent arrival, with the added demands of European football increasing the need for attacking depth.
However, missing out could prompt a rethink, especially given the significant financial commitment involved. For now, Fulham’s interest is clear and Milan are willing to sell, but the way things eventually pan out may come down to how the Cottagers’ season unfolds in the coming weeks.
