Super Falcons head coach Justin Madugu has vowed that his ladies will go all out for victory in the second leg of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Benin Republic, Footynaija.com reports.
The Super Falcons are in firm control of this qualifying tie having cruised to a 2-0 victory in the first leg which took place last week Friday at the Stade de Kegue in Lome, the capital city of Togo.
Goals from Chinwendu Ihezuo and Esther Okonronwo sealed that win to give the reigning champions a plush cushion heading into Tuesday’s clash at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta.
Despite his side having a strong advantage though, Madugu insists the Super Falcons will not give any room for complacency when they square off with the Lionesses of Benin.

“We are looking forward to a tough game from the Beninoise, but we will be ready for that by putting up a good performance with the ultimate goal of qualification to the 2026 Women AFCON, where we hope to retain our title and further qualify for the World Cup in Brazil in 2027,” Madugu told the NFF’s official website.
“The Amazons with about 10 professional players from Germany, Morocco, France and Equatorial Guinea gave a good account of themselves in the first leg, to underscore the fact that underrating any team now in Africa could be at your own peril.
“We are not taking anything for granted or leaving anything to chance. We will be ready to go all out for victory.”

Victory for the Super Falcons will be rewarded with a ticket to next year’s edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations set to be hosted by Morocco.
