Victor Osimhen was on target again as Galatasaray came from behind to beat Göztepe 3–1 in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday, Footynaija.com reports.
The visitors stunned the home fans early through Efkan Bekiroglu’s sixth-minute strike, but Osimhen levelled midway through the first half after capitalising on a defensive error to round the goalkeeper and slot home.

It was the Nigerian’s 43rd league goal for Galatasaray, drawing him level with coach Okan Buruk on the club’s all-time scoring list and placing him 18th overall.
Only five foreign players have scored more league goals for the club, with Osimhen now two shy of Wesley Sneijder.
Göztepe’s hopes faded when Malcom Bokele Mputu was sent off before half-time.
Galatasaray took control after the break, with Gabriel Sara and Mauro Icardi finding the net to seal a third straight win and extend their lead at the top to five points over Trabzonspor.

Osimhen’s strike was his ninth goal of the season for club and country, maintaining a rich vein of form that will excite Nigeria ahead of their World Cup qualifying playoff against Gabon next month.
That is a clash the Super Eagles will hope his sharp finishing makes the difference.
