Nigeria’s Super Eagles return to action on Tuesday when they face Russia in an international friendly at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium, Footynaija reports.
Eric Chelle’s side are seeking a response after their 3-0 defeat by Guinea-Bissau in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Nigeria face a confident Russia side that thrashed Namibia 6-0 on Saturday, with five different players finding the net. Valery Karpin’s men have now won four consecutive matches, scoring at least twice in each.
Chelle, however, has selected a largely experimental squad, giving several fringe players an opportunity to make their case.
