Victor Osimhen has entered another round of transfer talks, with Arsenal linked with the Super Eagles striker as the Gunners explore options for their attack and Galatasaray hold talks over players in Mikel Arteta’s squad, Footynaija.com reports.
The Nigerian forward remains one of the biggest names on the transfer market. After his loan spell in Istanbul, Galatasaray made his move permanent and Osimhen continued to show why the club wanted to keep him.
His goals have also kept interest from Premier League clubs alive. Tottenham have been linked with the striker as they search for a new No. 9, while Arsenal have also kept an eye on his situation.

Ben Jacobs reveals latest twist in Arsenal interest in Osimhen
Transfer expert Ben Jacobs says Osimhen’s name has now come up in talks between Arsenal and Galatasaray, but he stressed that the situation is still at an early stage.
The Arsenal angle has emerged partly because Galatasaray are interested in players at the Emirates. The Turkish club have been speaking about Gabriel Martinelli and Super-Eagles eligible teenager Ethan Nwaneri, which has helped bring Osimhen into the wider discussions.
“But for Arsenal, because Galatasaray want Gabriel Martinelli and have been speaking about Ethan Nwaneri, Victor Osimhen has come up and I think that’s normal as part of a very early stage negotiation,” Jacobs said.
The financial side could still prove difficult for Arsenal. Osimhen’s salary, bonuses and agent fees are all factors that would have to be settled before a deal could move forward.
“But the challenge again is what Victor Osimhen wants in terms of wage and bonuses, agent commissions,” Jacobs explained.
The situation is also made more difficult by Galatasaray’s stance on the striker. The Turkish club have already shown that they can reject major offers if they do not meet their demands.
“And if reports are to be believed, Galatasaray have already turned a very lucrative bid, far more than Arsenal would be prepared to pay from Al Hilal,” Jacobs added.
