Slavia Prague manager Jindrich Tripsovsky has shared his thoughts on the perfect next step for teenage Nigerian midfielder Mubarak Suleiman amid speculations of a potential move to West Ham United, Footynaija.com reports.
The Hammers are no strangers to poaching talents from the Czech Republic with the likes of Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal and El Hadji Malick Diouf all former talents of the Czech 1. Liga who’re now thriving in West London.
According to Capital Football UK, West Ham have now landed their searchlight on Suleiman, a young and exciting winger currently developing his craft at Slavia Prague’s academy.
However, Slavia’s head coach Tripsovsky is not fully convinced about a potential switch to the Premier League for Suleiman. According to Tripsovsky, the 18-year-old winger’s abilities are best suited to the Italian game at this point in time.

“I think he has a bright future. Mubarak is a great prospect, but so far he’s only played three senior games,” the Slavia boss told Capital Football.
“He showed his true mettle against Benfica in the Youth League. As of today, Transfermarkt values him at €50k, but I often wonder where he will be in two or three years.
“I always used to say that Souček was suited to the Premier League, and today I would say that Suleiman might be perfect for Italy.”

Despite Tripsovsky’s stance, it’ll come as no surprise if West Ham United end up with a successful swoop for the Nigerian teenager this summer, given their track record of successes in the past.
Any potential move is still a matter for the future. In the immediate term, the Hammers are fully focused on their battle for Premier League survival as they currently occupy one of the three relegation spots.
