Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor have taken a firm stance on the future of prolific Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu amid growing interest from clubs across Europe and the Saudi Pro League, Footynaija.comreports.
Onuachu has been in outstanding form this season and is now attracting attention from multiple suitors following a prolific run in front of goal.
However, despite the increasing interest, NTV SPOR reports that Trabzonspor have made it clear that they are not willing to sanction his departure during the upcoming transfer window.
Onuachu’s contract situation strengthens Trabzonspor’s position as the 31-year-old remains tied to the Istanbul based club until the summer of 2028, with an option for an additional year, leaving them under no immediate pressure to consider offers.

For Onuachu, it appears the Super Eagles striker is content to remain at Trabzonspor with reports indicating that he recently rejected a lucrative proposal from a Saudi Arabian club, which would have significantly increased his current salary.
Onuachu’s performances this campaign have been central to the rising interest in his services. He has registered an impressive tally of 23 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions, firmly establishing himself as the most prolific striker in Turkey this season.
Despite the growing external attention, Trabzonspor’s position appears definitive. The club view Onuachu as a crucial part of their plans moving forward and are determined to retain his services.
As the summer window approaches, the situation looks relatively clear. Interest may continue to build, but both the player and the club are aligned, with no immediate indication that a transfer is on the horizon.
