Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has weighed in on the debate of who the better striker is between Erling Haaland of Manchester City and Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray, Footynaija.com reports.
Haaland and Osimhen, both 25 years old and 27 years old respectively, have established themselves as two of the most reliable and prolific hitmen plying their trades in Europe.
Haaland marked his arrival at Manchester City four years ago in majestic fashion, plundering 52 goals in 53 appearances to deliver the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup for the Cityzens.

For Osimhen, he pulled off something quite similar during a loan spell at Galatasaray last season where he registered 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions to help the Lions to a Super Lig and Turkish Kupasi triumph.
Asked to choose between the two strikers, Osayi-Samuel admitted that his choice may have some elements of bias but insisted that Osimhen, his international teammate offers more than their Norwegian counterpart.

“If I am being honest it is Victor. I might be biased but I think a lot of people don’t see what he does in training,” Osayi-Samuel said in a recent interview with OmaSports TV.
“I think with Vic, it is not just with the ball, it is what he does without the ball. His pressing! I have never seen someone press the way he presses and gets the ball.
“I think it is a talent with the way he does it now because it is not just one-two times, he does it frequently. As a fullback, you might make a bad ball but he turns it into a great ball just the way he runs and presses.”

Both strikers have enjoyed scintillating goal-scoring form for their respective clubs over the course of the current season. Haaland has scored 31 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions while Osimhen has 15 goals to his name after 21 outings with Galatasaray.
