Ademola Lookman’s future at Atalanta is hanging in the balance as Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid prepare for a January showdown over the Nigerian winger, Footynaija.com reports.
The 28-year-old is increasingly unsettled in Bergamo after Atalanta blocked a €45m switch to Inter Milan in the summer, insisting on €50m, a stance that left the player deeply frustrated.

Lookman’s relationship with the club deteriorated rapidly afterwards. He briefly boycotted training and left Atalanta’s facility before being reintegrated, and matters escalated further during a Champions League clash with Marseille on 5 November, when he clashed angrily with former manager Ivan Juric on the touchline.
Despite having a contract until 2027, Lookman is now understood to be open to a move, with Atalanta weighing their options ahead of the winter window. His upcoming AFCON commitments also add pressure on the Italians to make a decision sooner rather than later.

Galatasaray are currently viewed as favourites after reportedly offering Lookman a substantial €9m-a-year deal, with the added lure of joining international teammate Victor Osimhen in Istanbul. Fenerbahçe remain firmly in the race, having tracked the winger closely for months and submitted an earlier bid that Atalanta swiftly rejected.
Tottenham and Atletico Madrid are expected to renew interest after failing in their summer pursuits. Atalanta may even consider lowering their €50m valuation if Lookman’s form does not improve under new head coach Raffaele Palladino.
