“At club level, I hope to play an even more important role in the team and contribute consistently throughout the season.”
Bameyi also addressed his long–term ambition with Nigeria. The former U20 AFCON Team of the Tournament defender stressed that he wants to remain available whenever the national team calls, while pushing towards a place in the Super Eagles.
“With the national team, my aim is to continue representing Nigeria with pride and determination whenever I am called upon. I also want to earn more opportunities, help the team achieve strong performances, and contribute to taking Nigerian football to greater heights,” he stated.
