Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen have made it clear they will not part ways with Rafiu Durosinmi on the cheap, rebuffing multiple approaches for the Nigerian forward before the transfer window shut, Footynaija.com reports.
The 22-year-old has become one of Plzen’s standout performers since arriving from Karviná in 2023, delivering 26 goals and 10 assists in just 66 appearances. That output caught the eye of several European clubs, with Rangers, Gent and Borussia Mönchengladbach all submitting bids in recent weeks. Lazio are also one of Durosinmi’s biggest admirers.
Transfer insider Rudy Galetti revealed that each of those offers was swiftly dismissed, with Plzen believing the proposals fell well short of their valuation. Durosinmi is currently listed at around €7 million by Transfermarkt, though the Czechs are thought to be holding out for a significantly higher figure given his influence.
Interest is not limited to Western Europe. Clubs in Saudi Arabia and Turkey have also registered their admiration, but Plzen are in no rush to cash in, especially as they push on with their league and European commitments.
Reports suggest Durosinmi is pushing for a transfer but Plzen’s stand is clear as the youngster remains central to the club’s ambitions.
