Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze is on the verge of completing a long anticipated transfer to the Premier League after being at the center of speculations for the better part of this summer transfer window, Footynaija.com reports.
Fulham have turned to Chukwueze in their bid to strengthen Marco Silva’s front line before the end of the transfer window and the West London club are now on the brink of poaching the electric winger from AC Milan.
Italian journalist Matteo Moretto reports that Chukwueze is heading to England tonight. While Milan and Fulham have not completely sealed the deal, the player is traveling in advance to prepare for medicals and the contract signing.
The move is in its final stages though and all parties expect the remaining details to be completed before the summer transfer window deadline.

This brings an end to months of speculations surrounding the Super Eagles star’s future at AC Milan, especially since the appointment of Italian manager Massimiliano Allegri, whose style of play doesn’t favour the use of wingers.
If all goes according to plan, Chukwueze will join fellow Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey at Craven Cottage while adding to the Premier League’s growing contingent of Nigerian players.
While sorting out his club future, Chukwueze will also have international responsibilities at the back of his mind. The former Villarreal man is part of the Super Eagles squad that will be looking to maintain Nigeria’s hope of qualifying for the World Cup with crucial fixtures against Rwanda and South Africa in the offing.
