Award-winning Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has been reportedly offered to Premier League sides Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in a bid to fast-track a summer departure from Bergamo, Footynaija.com understands.

Lookman and Atalanta have long been expected to part ways this summer, following that widely publicized altercation between him and former La Dea boss Gian Piero Gasperini midway into the 2024/2025 season.

Top European clubs like Atalanta’s Serie A rivals Juventus as well as Premier League big guns Arsenal and Liverpool were thought to be interested in securing the services of the versatile Nigerian forward but so far, there have been no serious movement in that respect.

Despite this, the reigning African Player of the Year remains keen on securing an exit from Bergamo with The Hard Tackle reporting that he has re-emphasized his desire to leave the club and explore new opportunities elsewhere.

The same report claims that Lookman has now been offered to Premier League sides Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, with both clubs said to be keen on reinforcing their front lines ahead of next season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal, who have been previously credited with interest in the Super Eagles forward are reportedly also looking at the possibility of adding the 2023 Europa League final hat-trick hero to their exciting list of attackers.

For Atalanta, it appears they have made their peace with Lookman’s looming departure as the signing of electric Southampton winger Kamaldeen Sulemana suggests the Bergamo-based club are already preparing for life without their talismanic forward.

Over the last three seasons as an Atalanta player, Lookman has racked up 73 goal contributions (52G, 21A) in 118 appearances across all competitions.
