Former Super Eagles and Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Sunday Oliseh has offered some strong words of advice to Victor Osimhen amid reports of the striker’s pending return to Galatasaray on a permanent basis, Footynaija.com reports.

As expected, this summer has proven to be an eventful one for Osimhen, whose future has been a hot topic of debate for many fans following his record-breaking loan spell with Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray last season.

After turning down over four mouth-watering offers from Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal in favour of staying back in Europe and competing at the highest level, Osimhen appears set for a return to RAMS Park, this time, on a permanent basis.

According to reports from popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray are ready to meet the Nigerian striker’s €75 million release clause. The player has also communicated his desire for a return to Turkey with Napoli.

With Osimhen now almost certain to return to Istanbul, many fans of the striker are delighted that their favourite player will be returning to a club where he was showered with a lot of love and adoration last season.

However, this is not the case for Oliseh, who also played in the Super Lig albeit with Fenerbahce. The former midfielder thinks Osimhen should be moving to the Premier League where the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal could use his services.

Victor Osihmen is at a very delicate crossroad. He needs to find his way to the premier league in a hurry or he risks so much regret! Man. United and Arsenal need this player if only…..

“Victor Osihmen is at a very delicate crossroad,” Oliseh posted via his official X account. “He needs to find his way to the premier league in a hurry or he risks so much regret! Man. United and Arsenal need this player if only…..”

Can Victor Osimhen realistically make Man Utd or Arsenal move?

As Oliseh said, both Manchester United and Arsenal can do with a prolific goal scorer. But the possibility of a potential move to either of the aforementioned clubs is quite slim at this point.

For the Red Devils, Napoli’s asking price coupled with the player’s purported wage demands means any potential deal may be too steep for a club in their current financial position.

Meanwhile, the Gunners have simply opted to focus their resources on the pursuit of Sporting CP’s Swedish goal machine Viktor Gyokeres.

Given the current circumstances, returning Galatasaray, a club that has prioritized his acquisition following that stellar loan spell last season, appears to be the best course of action for Osimhen.
