Victor Osimhen was serenaded by Galatasaray fans with a heartfelt stay-with-us anthem on Friday night, moments before what may be his final appearance for the Turkish giants, Footynaija.com reports.

As the Nigerian striker stepped onto the pitch at RAMS Park ahead of Galatasaray’s last game of the season against İstanbul Başakşehir, supporters sang Nazan Öncel’s ballad “Gitme, stay in this city”, a symbolic and emotional plea for the 26-year-old to remain at the club. The song echoed around the stadium, uniting fans in a moving show of admiration and hope.

Osimhen, who arrived on loan from Napoli last summer, has been a revelation in Turkish football. His explosive performances and clinical finishing helped propel Galatasaray to their record-extending 25th Süper Lig title and a domestic double with the Turkish Cup. He netted 25 league goals and 35 in all competitions—quickly earning cult status among the fans.

Despite the celebration of a glorious season, Osimhen’s future remains uncertain. Reports in the Saudi press suggest that the Nigerian international has reached an agreement with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, fuelling speculation that his stay in Istanbul may be short-lived.

Speaking earlier in the week, Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk acknowledged the situation but remained hopeful.

“The player will decide about his future. He made an incredible contribution here. We need to respect him, but we are hopeful that he will stay with us.”

Osimhen has not commented publicly on the transfer speculation, instead choosing to enjoy Galatasaray’s title celebrations with his teammates and family.
