‘A boost for any team’ – Ex-Premier League star urges Chelsea to sign Super Eagles’ Osimhen

Serie A’s most decorated club Juventus are intensifying efforts to secure the services of red-hot Super Eagles center forward Victor Osimhen amid strong rival interests from the Premier League, Footynaija.com understands.

Osimhen has become one of the most sought-after striking talents in European football in recent years. His heroics during Napoli’s Scudetto winning campaign established his status as one of the best strikers in world football at the moment.

Unfortunately, his stint in Naples ended on a sour note with the Nigerian marksman as well as the Partenopei cutting ties and actively seeking a permanent separation in the summer of 2024.

Unable to secure a permanent departure, Osimhen ended up settling for a loan spell with Galatasaray. That move has proved to be a masterstroke with the 26-year-old currently enjoying arguably the best form of his professional career.

His exploits at the Istanbul based club have kept some of Europe’s biggest clubs on tip of their toes as they closely monitor his transfer situation ahead of the coming window.

Juventus, who are known admirers of the Nigerian, have now reportedly ramped up efforts to secure his signature amid rival interests from Manchester United and Chelsea, who are also in desperate need of striking reinforcements ahead of the summer window.

According to TEAMtalk, the Old Lady are uncertain about the futures of both Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani as the summer window approaches. Vlahovic recently rejected a new contract while Kolo Muani may not complete a permanent move upon the expiration of his loan deal.

As such, Juve see Osimhen as the ideal player to lead their attack next season and they are said to be “pushing harder than ever” to ensure he wears their white and black stripes at Allianz Stadium.
