The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the Super Eagles will feature in the 2025 Unity Cup, set to take place in London at the end of May, Footynaija.com reports.
The three-time African champions will rekindle their fierce rivalry with Ghana on Wednesday, May 28, before taking on either Jamaica or Trinidad & Tobago in a second match scheduled for Saturday, May 31.
Both fixtures will be hosted at Brentford’s GTech Community Stadium, which seats 17,250 fans and offers a modern setting for what promises to be a festival of international football.

The matches are part of Nigeria’s preparation for crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa in September. With qualification hopes on the line, head coach Eric Chelle will use these friendlies to fine-tune tactics and assess key players.
The Super Eagles and the Black Stars last met in a friendly following the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, with Nigeria emerging 2-1 winners. That victory offered a measure of revenge after Ghana denied Nigeria a place at the 2022 World Cup via the away goals rule.
Nigeria’s potential match against Jamaica would mark their first meeting since a pulsating 2-2 draw in the build-up to the 1998 World Cup. That encounter saw the legendary Rashidi Yekini score his 37th and final goal for Nigeria — a record that still stands today.
Meanwhile, a clash with Trinidad & Tobago would represent the first-ever senior meeting between the two nations.
