In the Saudi Women’s Premier League, Super Falcons duo Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega put on a dazzling display, contributing eight goals in Al Ittihad’s emphatic 9-0 thrashing of Al Taraji.

Plumptre opened the scoring and provided three assists, while Ordega netted a superb hat-trick and set up another goal. Remarkably, Ordega’s third goal came from a Plumptre assist, highlighting their excellent chemistry.

Onuachu strikes in England, Edun wins It for Peterborough

Paul Onuachu, left out of Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers, continued his resurgence with a goal in Wolves’ 2-1 win over Southampton at St. Mary’s. The Nigerian forward has now scored three league goals this season.

Meanwhile, Tayo Edun was the match-winner for Peterborough, netting the only goal in their 1-0 victory over Cambridge United in League One. The left-back now boasts three goals and two assists in 15 appearances this season.

Dennis provides first Blackburn assist, Oshilaja secures Mansfield Win

Emmanuel Dennis registered his first goal contribution for Blackburn Rovers, assisting Japan’s Yuki Ohashi in a 2-1 loss to Cardiff City.

Despite his efforts, Cardiff secured victory late on through Yakou Meïté’s 73rd-minute strike.

Arokodare and Okereke make their mark

In Belgium, Tolu Arokodare continued his fine form for Genk, scoring in a 2-1 triumph over Union St. Gilloise, taking his tally to 17 league goals this season.

Meanwhile, David Okereke sealed three points for Gaziantep FK in Turkey, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Kayserispor.

Adeyemo nets consolation for Crawley

Ade Adeyemo
found the net for Crawley Town, though it proved little more than a consolation in their heavy 5-1 defeat to Huddersfield.
