10. Matheus Cunha (€45m) – Wolverhampton Wanderers

Since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cunha has established himself as one of the strikers to look out for in England’s top-flight division. Although Wolves struggled last season, the Brazilian managed to make an impressive 19-goal contribution in 32 appearances. Cunha’s ability to create chances and score from difficult positions makes him crucial to Wolves’ hopes of climbing the table. His agility and creativity will be essential as Wolves aim to improve their offensive output and finish in the top half of the table.

9. Ivan Toney (€45m) – Brentford

Tied with Cunha at €45 million, Toney has been a revelation for Brentford since their promotion to the Premier League. His physicality, combined with his exceptional finishing, makes him one of the league’s most consistent goal-scorers. The 28-year-old can hold up play and involve teammates in attack, adding another dimension to Brentford’s game. A summer exit is looking increasingly likely for the England international after he was left out of Brentford’s first game of the season. However, he remains a Bees player at the moment so he makes our list.

8. Joshua Zirkzee (€50m) – Manchester United

The 23-year-old striker possesses a great combination of height, strength, and technical ability, making him a threat both in the air and on the ground. The Dutchman joined the Red Devils this summer after impressing for Bologna last term. Zirkzee’s composure in front of goal and his ability to link up with midfielders was on full display in his 29 minutes debut as he grabbed a late winner for United on opening day. With his potential still untapped, Zirkzee could prove to be a valuable asset for Ten Hag’s side in the long term.

7. Evan Ferguson (€50m) – Brighton & Hove Albion

The 19-year-old Irish striker has already shown flashes of brilliance with his speed, agility and clinical finishing. Ferguson’s ability to find space in the box and capitalize on chances made him a key figure in Brighton’s attack last season. As the club looks to continue its upward trajectory in the Premier League, Ferguson’s development will be crucial. His potential to become one of the league’s top strikers is immense, and Brighton will be hoping he can lead them to new heights.

6. Gabriel Jesus (€65m) – Arsenal

The Brazil international has been a vital component of Arsenal’s resurgence under Mikel Arteta, offering both goals and assists. Jesus’s ability to play across the front line, combined with his high work rate, makes him a perfect fit for Arteta’s pressing system. However, the Brazilian’s lack of ruthlessness in front of goal has seen him lose his place in the team to Kai Havertz who has been very effective as Arsenal’s false nine.

5. Ollie Watkins (€65m) – Aston Villa

Under the guidance of Unai Emery, Watkins has developed into a more complete forward, capable of leading the line and dropping deep to facilitate play. His pace, strength and finishing ability make him a nightmare for opposition defenses. The 28-year-old notched 32 goal contributions as he fired Villa to a top four finish and Champions League qualification last season. As the Villans seek to maintain their top four status and compete among Europe’s elite, Watkins will certainly play a huge part in any potential successes.

4. Rasmus Højlund (€65m) – Manchester United

Since joining Manchester United, Højlund has shown flashes of his potential, with his pace and power making him a nightmare for defenders. The Dane’s time at Old Trafford has been plagued by injuries, with the 21-year-old currently enduring a spell on the sidelines. As United look to challenge for titles, Højlund’s goals will be crucial to their aspirations. His potential to become a top-tier striker in the Premier League is undeniable and his development will be interesting to follow.

3. Darwin Núñez (€70m) – Liverpool

Núñez has all the attributes of a top-class forward save for his finishing. Despite his profligacy in front of goal, the fact that he ranks this high on our list is a testament to his immense footballing talent. The Uruguayan’s ability to stretch defenses with his runs in behind is very crucial to Liverpool’s attacking play. If Nuñez can manage to add that all important clinical edge to his game, then Arne Slot’s charges should have no trouble competing at the top of the Premier League this season.

2. Alexander Isak (€75m) – Newcastle United

The Sweden international has been a revelation since joining Newcastle United, combining technical skill with physicality and ruthlessness in front of goal. Isak’s ability to score from all angles coupled with his ability to link up play make him an invaluable asset for Newcastle. As the Magpies aim to solidify their place among the Premier League elite, Isak’s goals will be central to their success. The 24-year-old is certainly one to watch as the 2024/2025 season unfolds.

1. Erling Haaland (€130m) – Manchester City

The Norwegian sensation has taken the league by storm since joining Manchester City, breaking records while making scoring in the PL look easy. Haaland’s combination of speed, strength, and clinical finishing makes him almost unstoppable. Under Pep Guardiola, the 24-year-old has thrived, becoming the focal point of City’s attack. As the Citizens look to maintain their dominance of English football, Haaland’s goals will be vital to their quest for more silverware.
