Juventus have set their sights on Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi, preparing a formal offer as they aim to bolster their squad for the upcoming season, Soccernet.football reports.

The Turin club, having recently offloaded Dean Huijsen to Bournemouth and Matias Soule to Roma, is now ready to make significant moves in the transfer market.

This includes an expected push for Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners, following Fabio Miretti’s injury which will keep him out for at least a month.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus’ sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has crafted a bid for Adeyemi, consisting of a €35 million base fee with an additional €10 million in potential add-ons.

Giuntoli has already reached out to Adeyemi’s father, offering the player a multi-year contract worth €4 million per season, plus €1 million in add-ons. Discussions between Juventus and the player’s representatives are ongoing.

Adeyemi, 22, had a mixed season with Dortmund, scoring five goals in 34 appearances. He notably started on the left wing in the club’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.

His performances attracted interest from Premier League giants Chelsea, who reportedly approached his representatives.

However, Adeyemi is reportedly uninterested in a move to Stamford Bridge, largely due to Chelsea’s absence from next season’s Champions League.

The winger now appears more inclined towards a transfer to Juventus, with negotiations seemingly progressing swiftly. The move, if completed, would provide Adeyemi with the opportunity to continue playing in the Champions League, aligning with his career aspirations.
