Switzerland head coach Murat Yakin believes his side will not be under much pressure heading into their final fixture in Group A against the host nation Germany at the Frankfurt Arena, Soccernet.football reports.

The Rossocrociati have won four points from a possible six, making them the most likely team to qualify from Group A alongside Germany, who have already booked their place in the Round of 16 with two wins from two games.

Yakin feels no pressure to win and views the prospect of taking on the hosts as an exciting challenge to be enjoyed, with his squad boasting a clean bill of health, heading into the game.

“All my players are available,” he told reporters on Saturday. “We won’t suffer huge pressure as we don’t necessarily have to win. We will try to bother our opponent, cause them problems and play a good match.

“It will be an interesting game that we are looking forward to, a clash between me and Julian and our tactics. We want to give it our best shot.

“More than two-thirds of our squad have played (club football) in Germany and we want to perform well and make the Swiss fans proud.”

This clash will determine who finishes first or second in Group A, influencing the path through to the knockout rounds. However, the Switzerland gaffer said he was not focused on such outcomes.

“We have analysts looking at potential opponents and I can say there are no weak teams,” he said.

“The games at these Euros have all been top level and all very interesting. We will be focussed on our way of playing and our tactics.

“We cannot focus on the opponents only but must also look at the way we want to play.”
