West Ham has shown David Moyes the exit door, with Julen Lopetegui poised to step into his shoes, Soccernet.football reports.

Moyes is bidding farewell to his managerial stint at the London Stadium, a decision reached “by mutual consent” as his contract winds down at the close of the ongoing season.

Returning for his second innings in December 2019, Moyes was instrumental in steering the club clear of relegation in his first season before sensationally leading the club to winning the Europa Conference League last summer.

The Hammers have kickstarted the hunt for Moyes’ successor, remaining tight-lipped until the ink dries on the new appointment.

However, Sky Sports revealed that Lopetegui’s pact with West Ham will see him assume the helm as new head coach.

Under Moyes’ tutelage, West Ham clinched their first European trophy since 1965, seizing the Europa Conference League title in a memorable showdown against Fiorentina last season.

Reflecting on his second spell with the Hammers, Moyes said, “I have enjoyed four and a half brilliant years at West Ham, and the club is in a stronger position than when I returned back in 2019.

“When I joined West Ham for a second time, the club was one place above the relegation zone, and it has been a terrific journey to have achieved three consecutive seasons in Europe.

“After leading the club to safety, we guided the team to finishes of sixth and seventh in the Premier League, and I was delighted when we won the Europa Conference League title last June – the club’s first major trophy in 43 years.

“I would like to thank all the players for their support, and all the success they have achieved, over the last four and a half years. I have really enjoyed working with everyone at West Ham, and I would like to thank the Board for giving me the opportunity to manage this great club.”

Despite a valiant effort this campaign, where he led West Ham to the Europa League quarter-finals and currently occupying the ninth spot in the Premier League standings, Moyes’ tenure is drawing to a close.

Heya this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with
HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.
Any help would be enormously appreciated!

Its such as you read my thoughts! You seem
