Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Czech goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky in a deal reportedly valued at around £10 million, Soccernet.football understands.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper was first linked with a move to Spurs over the weekend, following reports that he had traveled to London and was due to complete his medical after Spurs’ lunch-time game against Newcastle United on Saturday.

Soccernet.football can now confirm that Kinsky has finalized the paperwork with the North London club announcing the transfer on their official website Sunday morning.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Antonin Kinsky from SK Slavia Prague, subject to international clearance and work permit,” a club statement read. “The 21-year-old goalkeeper has agreed a deal that will run until 2031 and will wear the number 31 shirt.”

Although no official transfer fee was disclosed by the Lilly Whites, widely followed football journalist Fabrizio Romano, reported via his social media account on X (formerly Twitter) that the amount exceeded £10 million.

Tottenham, facing a severe shortage of goalkeeping options, could see Kinsky make his debut as early as Wednesday in the Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool, provided the necessary legal paperwork is finalized in time.

With Fraser Forster sidelined by illness and long-term absentee Guglielmo Vicario unavailable, Ange Postecoglou was forced to rely on third-choice goalkeeper Brandon Austin, handing him his first-team debut in Saturday’s clash against Newcastle United. While Austin delivered a respectable performance, he conceded twice in a 2-1 defeat, continuing Tottenham’s poor run of form at home.
