Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare has continued to make a strong impression at Ajax, with Dutch football columnist Hugo Borst praising the Nigerian forward following his latest outing for the Eredivisie giants, Footynaija.com reports.
Arokodare joined Ajax on a season-long loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer and has quickly established himself as an important attacking option under new manager Michel Sanchez.
The 25-year-old has already contributed five goals and two assists in eight appearances across all competitions, including a brace against FC Sion in the Conference League qualifiers.

His impressive start has now caught the attention of Borst, who admitted he has enjoyed watching the towering Nigerian striker during Ajax’s 5-1 victory away to Fortuna Sittard on Saturday.
Although Arokodare failed to get on the scoresheet, he came close when his powerful header struck the crossbar before Thilo Kehrer followed up to score from the rebound.
Speaking on ESPN’s De Eretribune, Borst was particularly impressed by the striker’s physical presence and the way he uses his body to bring others into play.
“How do I feel about him now? He could have scored… I enjoy watching it a lot. He is an impressive figure, but the way he uses his chest… I absolutely love that,” Borst said as revealed by Voetbal Primieur.
“He is a real joy to watch. You already saw him posing for photos with all the Fortuna supporters before the match… He is just a really nice guy, and that simply plays a part.”
Arokodare will now be looking to add to his impressive tally when the Amsterdam giants return to action against Willem II at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Tuesday.
