Nigerian winger Tunde Akinsola has completed his move from Portuguese side AVS Futebol SAD to Belgian Pro League outfit Cercle Brugge, Footynaija.com reports.
The 23-year-old has signed a contract running until June 2030, with Cercle Brugge holding an option to extend the deal for another season.
Akinsola joins the Belgian outfit after establishing himself as an important player for AVS, where he initially arrived on loan from Spanish side Real Valladolid in January 2024.

The Nigerian made an immediate impression, scoring just days after his arrival in a 2-1 victory over Leiria before playing an important role as AVS secured promotion to Portugal’s top flight.
His performances convinced AVS to make the move permanent later that year, and Akinsola continued to feature regularly after the club reached the Primeira Liga.
Across his time with AVS, the versatile attacker made 81 appearances, scoring eight goals and providing five assists, while his pace and ability to beat defenders made him one of the club’s notable attacking outlets.
Cercle Brugge technical director Luciano Murchio believes those qualities will make Akinsola a valuable addition to the club.
“Tunde is a strong one-v-one player who can be very dangerous in the final third and in transition moments,” Murchio said.
“Thanks to his versatility, he can play across several attacking positions and adds extra quality to our offensive options.
“He is the type of attacker who fits the way Cercle wants to play, and we are convinced he will create many dangerous attacking moments.”
Akinsola, who can operate on either flank, began his career with Valiant FC in Nigeria before moving to Sweden-based Vasalund and later Spain, where he made his La Liga debut for Real Valladolid.
