Super Eagles forward Peter Olayinka has completed a permanent move to Saudi Arabian side Al Wehda, Footynaija.com reports.
The 30-year-old joins the Mecca-based club as a free agent after ending his spell with Cypriot outfit APOEL Nicosia.
Olayinka now embarks on a new chapter in his career after putting pen to paper with Al Wehda, who will hope the experienced Nigerian can add more firepower to their attack.
The move brings an end to Olayinka’s time at APOEL, whom he joined after previously building a strong reputation across European football.

The Nigerian enjoyed considerable success during his time with Slavia Prague, winning three Czech First League titles, while he also lifted domestic honours with Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade.
Olayinka has also represented Nigeria at international level, featuring for the Super Eagles at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
His move to Al Wehda sees him follow in the footsteps of compatriot Odion Ighalo, who previously led the attack for the Saudi Arabian club.

Olayinka was unable to feature in Al Wehda’s 3-2 King’s Cup victory over Al Shabab on Sunday, with his transfer only being finalised on Monday.
The former Slavia Prague forward could now be in line to make his debut when Al Wehda host Al Adalah on Friday, August 21, subject to his registration being completed and the coaching staff deeming him ready to feature.
He could alternatively wait until their away trip to Al Zulfi on August 26 for his first appearance. Whatever the case, Olayinka will be hoping to hit the ground running in Saudi Arabia as he begins his latest challenge and looks to make an immediate impact with Al Wehda.
