Super Falcons stars Rinsola Babajide and Shukurat Oladipo have played their part as Roma secured the 2025/26 Serie A Femminile title in convincing fashion, Footynaija reports.

The Nigerian pair, both experiencing their first full campaign with the club, were involved as Roma confirmed top spot with a calm 2-0 victory over Ternana at the Stadio Tre Fontane.

The result ensured Roma wrapped up the title with two matches still to play. Their tally of 49 points left them out of reach of second-placed Inter Milan, with a superior head-to-head record putting the outcome beyond doubt. It capped a powerful run of form, as Roma went 15 games unbeaten to pull clear and take control of the title race.

It has been a dream campaign for Babajide following a strong introduction to Italian football after her move from Spanish side UDCA Tenerife in July 2025. The former Liverpool forward made an immediate impression by scoring on her league debut against Parma.

Although often used as a substitute or rotation option, the attacker contributed two goals and an assist in nine appearances, bringing pace and creativity in key moments. Her assist in a tight win over AC Milan stood out, while she also played a role in matches against title rivals Inter.

Oladipo, meanwhile, became a regular presence in defence. The 21-year-old centre-back, who joined from FC Robo Queens earlier in 2025, featured in 16 league games and played more than 1,200 minutes. Her calm positioning, strength, and reading of the game helped Roma build one of the strongest defensive records in the league.

Both players also featured during Roma’s run in European competition, contributing to their successful qualification for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

This latest title is Roma’s third in four seasons. The club’s attention now turns to the Coppa Italia final against Juventus on 24 May in Vicenza.
