Barcelona are reported to have made an informal move for Victor Osimhen, as speculation over the striker’s future continues to grow ahead of the summer transfer window, Footynaija reports.
According to Turkish insider Serhan Türk, the Spanish giants have already made contact with Galatasaray and tabled a verbal offer believed to be worth more than €100 million.
Türk said: “Barcelona has a great interest in Victor Osimhen. They have informally made an offer of over 100 million Euros. Galatasaray’s expectation for Osimhen is 150 million euros.”

Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray permanently from Napoli last summer for €74 million, has enjoyed a prolific campaign, registering 27 goal contributions across all competitions. His form has attracted attention from several elite European sides, including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Arsenal.

However, despite the growing noise, there is still no confirmation that Barcelona have submitted an official bid. Reports from Spain suggest the club are closely monitoring the Nigeria international as they assess attacking options, with manager Hansi Flick keen to recruit a long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski.
Osimhen’s style, built on pace, pressing intensity and aerial strength, is seen as a strong tactical fit for Flick’s system. Yet the financial reality presents a major obstacle.
Galatasaray are understood to be holding out for a fee between €130 million and €150 million, while Barcelona are working within strict budget limits and may not be able to stretch beyond €100 million.
Osimhen, though, remain happy in Istanbul at the moment as he drags Galatasaray to a fourth consecutive league title.
