What should have been a night of pure celebration for Victor Osimhen and Galatasaray instead ended with confusion and debate after the final whistle against Juventus, Footynaija reports.
The Turkish champions produced one of the finest performances in their European history, thumping the Italian giants 5-2 in the Champions League play-off first leg in Istanbul.
Yet moments after the match ended, cameras picked up Osimhen angrily waving away teammates who tried to celebrate with him, shouting and pacing the pitch as the crowd roared in delight.
Fans watching the footage were left stunned. Galatasaray had just recorded their biggest-ever Champions League win, but their star striker looked anything but happy.
While the Nigeria international did not score, he played a key role, setting up the third and late fifth goal finished by Sacha Boey.
Still, his body language suggested deep frustration at missing out on the scoresheet during such a historic night.

On the pitch, the match itself was packed with drama. Galatasaray struck first before Juventus turned things around through two goals from Teun Koopmeiners.
The hosts responded strongly after the break, with Noa Lang pulling them level before Davinson Sánchez powered in a header to swing the tie.
Juventus’ problems grew when a substitute was sent off, and Galatasaray took full advantage, scoring twice more to seal an emphatic victory.
Despite the huge result, attention quickly shifted to Osimhen’s reaction, a reminder of his fierce winning mentality. With the second leg still to come in Italy,
Galatasaray hold a strong advantage, while the Italian side coached by Luciano Spalletti now face a massive task to keep their European hopes alive.
