Arsenal and Juventus are watching Victor Osimhen closely as the financial weight of his move to Galatasaray begins to reshape the Turkish club’s long-term plans, footynaija.com reports.

The Nigerian striker only arrived in Istanbul last year for a fee reported to be around €75m, signing a contract that runs until 2029. Yet interest from the continent’s heavyweights has quickly returned, driven by Osimhen’s relentless scoring form and Galatasaray’s growing wage bill.

In north London, Arsenal’s recruitment strategy has largely focused on Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez, with reports suggesting the Premier League side are prepared to invest close to €100m in the Argentine forward.

But with Alvarez tied down until 2030 and Atletico in a strong negotiating position, attention has reportedly shifted towards Osimhen as a more realistic elite option, as per Fotospor.

Although Galatasaray are understood to be unwilling sellers in 2026, sources indicate that an offer in the region of €100m could test their resolve, especially if Osimhen expresses a desire to return to one of Europe’s top leagues. The striker is believed to be open to a Premier League challenge after conquering Serie A with Napoli.

The strain of Galatasaray’s ambitious spending has not gone unnoticed in Italy.

According to Foot Italia, Juventus are also tracking the situation closely, encouraged by recent comments from head coach Okan Buruk, who admitted Osimhen’s fee and salary alone could fund an entire squad.

That reality has sparked hope in Turin of a potential reunion with Luciano Spalletti, the coach under whom Osimhen fired Napoli to the 2023 Scudetto with 26 league goals.

With Juventus considering major changes in attack and Dusan Vlahovic’s future uncertain, Osimhen is viewed as a statement replacement.

On the pitch, the 27-year-old continues to justify the hype, registering 14 goals and one assist in 20 appearances for Galatasaray this season, alongside a standout Africa Cup of Nations showing for Nigeria.

For now, Galatasaray remain determined to keep their star, but Europe’s biggest clubs are circling once again.
