The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has rolled out its “Naija 4 The Win” campaign, firing the first major show of intent ahead of the Super Eagles’ AFCON 2025 campaign in Morocco, Footynaija.com reports.

AFCON 2025 will run from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, with Morocco hosting the tournament across several major cities. Nigeria go into the competition carrying fresh memories of the 2023 AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire, where the Super Eagles reached the final and settled for silver after falling short against the hosts.

In a statement, revealed by Arise News, the NFF pointed to that recent journey as proof that Nigeria remain among Africa’s elite, while admitting that the pain of finishing second still lingers.

“The NAIJA 4 THE WIN campaign serves as a unifying call to Nigerians across all regions and the diaspora,” the statement said.

“It reinforces the belief that, just as in Nigeria 1980, Tunisia 1994 and South Africa 2013, Nigeria can once again rise to the summit of African football. Each of these victories carries its own legacy, and Morocco 2025 presents another opportunity to inscribe a new chapter in that storied tradition.”

The federation described the Morocco tournament as a chance to close that chapter properly, calling on Nigerians to speak with one voice and back the players through every phase of the competition.

Head coach Eric Chelle is central to the messaging, with the federation backing him to lead his 28-man squad that mixes established names with younger options.

“Under the leadership of Head Coach Eric Sékou Chelle and the unwavering total support of the National Sports Commission and the Nigeria Football Federation, the team continues to build a solid structure based on discipline, experience, emerging talent, and collective ambition. The objective is unambiguous: to improve on the last performance and bring the Africa Cup of Nations trophy back to Nigeria.”

Beyond the pitch, “Naija 4 The Win” is designed to mobilise support across Nigeria and within the diaspora. From watch parties to digital engagement, the federation wants the Super Eagles to feel backed everywhere they go in Morocco.

With the countdown ticking, the tone from the NFF is one of belief, memory and momentum. The Super Eagles are going back to AFCON with purpose, and Nigeria is being asked to come along for the ride.
