Nigeria’s preparations for their upcoming international friendlies have gathered pace, with 15 players already settled in camp in Antalya ahead of matches against Iran and Jordan, Footynaija reports.
The early arrivals mark a steady start for the Super Eagles as the coaching crew begins work before the full squad assembles. Team officials confirmed that the camp received a timely lift with the arrival of Fulham winger Samuel Chukwueze and Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, both expected to play key roles in the two fixtures.
A strong core of the squad is already in place across all areas of the pitch. In midfield, Alex Iwobi and Lazio ace Fisayo Dele-Bashiru are among those who have reported early.
Defensively, the likes of Hull City’s Semi Ajayi, Birmingham City fullback Bright Osayi-Samuel, Olympiakos defender Bruno Onyemaechi and Rangers lad Emmanuel Fernandez are already in camp, providing options at the back as the team looks to build solidity.

Further forward, attacking options are also beginning to take shape. Paris FC star Moses Simon, Trabzonspor talisman Paul Onuachu, Hamburger’s new boy Philip Otele and Genk speedstar Collins Yira Sor are among those already working on the training pitch.
With more players expected to arrive in the coming days, the focus will gradually shift from assembling the squad to fine-tuning tactics. The fixtures against Iran and Jordan offer an important opportunity for Nigeria to test combinations, assess form, and build rhythm as they continue their preparations for future competitive matches.
The Super Eagles lock horns with Iran on March 27 before tackling Jordan also in Antalya four days later.
